Because we believe the Bible, we teach that God calls every believer to “walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4); to “walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:16); to “walk in love” (Ephesians 5:2); to “walk in wisdom” (Colossians 4:5); to “walk in the light” (1 John 1:7); and to “walk in the truth” (3 John 3). We also teach that every one of us is called to “cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God” (2 Corinthians 7:1) and to “love one another fervently with a pure heart” (1 Peter 1:22).

​Because we believe the Bible, we teach that “God was manifested in the flesh” (1 Timothy 3:16); that Jesus Christ “is the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15); and that “in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). We also teach that He will one day return to this earth, and that when He does, “the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). We also teach that those who do not believe will “be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9). This is why we are enthusiastically “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).

We are a Bible-believing church. This means that we believe “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). We also believe that “the grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the LORD endures forever” (1 Peter 1:24-25).

Because we believe the Bible and take it very seriously, when we preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, we preach “that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). When someone hears us preach the gospel and asks, “What shall we do?” we answer exactly the way Peter did on the day of Pentecost: “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). When people receive the Holy Spirit at our church, they “speak with other tongues, as the Spirit [gives] them utterance” (Acts 2:4).​
